Michael Bay (pictured) is a loudmouth, but if you were a multi-millionaire who studios hire whenever they want to blow stuff up, you might be too.  While supposedly doing post-production on Revenge of the Fallen, Bay took some time out to trash the other robot-centric movie coming out this summer, McG’s Terminator Salvation.

“We’ve seen the great year end movies, and watched the upcoming clips of the upcoming summer fare,” Bay said on his blog.  “We’ve seen certain movies coming out even try to duplicate Transformer size robots in their ads. Please, come on.”

When asked about it, McG fired back by stating the obvious: “With respect, giant robots have been the theme of film for a real long time.”

Don’t tell that to Bay.  He apparently thinks he was the first director to ever tackle giant robots.
