Empire Online got their hands on a clip from one of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’s special features, a breakdown of the Decepticon attack on a fleet of battleships and aircraft carriers.
In the clip, the narrator reveals that they actually did research to check how fast boats of that size can actually sink. Turns out it’s surprisingly fast — under twenty minutes for some. Check out the clip here.
The good folks at How it Should Have Ended finally turned their sights on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and the result is a three-minute video featuring a number of alternate scenes and ending possibilities. I can’t say it’s the funniest HISHE video out there — I’m personally partial to the Superman one and the Star Wars one — but this is pretty good.
The segment starting at the two minute mark is my favorite.
A new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen clip emerged that features the mini-Transformer Wheelie and some awkward humor of the sort that only Michael Bay can provide. Luckily, it also features Megan Fox. Check it out below.
When the TV spots arrive, you know the movie’s not far away. These three for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (all packaged in the one embedded video below) are pretty solid as far as thirty-second ads go; like all TV spots, they reuse a lot of footage from the full trailer, but if you look closely each one has its own distinct theme. Check ‘em out:
The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen full trailer was just released, and aside from being pretty awesome in its own right, it also includes this criminally hot shot of Megan Fox you see. Of course, there are also pyramids, explosions, and giant battling robots…which are almost, but not quite, as good. Check it out…
The lengthy bit of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen footage that screened at ShoWest found its way online last week via a site no less official than MichaelBay.com. Above is a cool screencap from the footage of a Megatron battle — yep, the same Megatron that Bay has been insisting doesn’t appear in the movie. (The Cinema Source has a few more caps.)
The online footage would certainly warrant posting this as a featured article — except that a day after its online debut, Paramount Pictures went nuts, taking down the video from Bay’s site and erasing the billion or so copies that had popped up on YouTube. Perhaps the keepers of Bay’s site jumped the gun on debuting the footage?
Paramount’s actions are pretty futile, because now that it’s gotten out it won’t go away. Below is a copy I found on YouTube without much trouble. It might be deleted by the time you read this, but a quick YouTube or Google search is bound to turn something up. (And if all else fails, you can just read a description of the ShoWest footage here.)
The full trailer for Revenge of the Fallen, by the way, will screen in front of X-Men Origins: Wolverine when it comes out on May 1st.
We told you MTV Spoilers would be airing some behind-the-scenes Revenge of the Fallen footage, but if you didn’t catch it when it aired on Saturday, check it out right here. Nothing groundbreaking, but we do hear from most main cast members. And Michael Bay says “boom” a lot.
The Transformers team is working overtime to make sure all the special effects are completed for the summer release of Revenge of the Fallen, and let’s be honest: this new trailer simply stitches together the random shots in which the effects work has actually been finished. Does that make it any less awesome? Hell no.
At the recent 2009 Chicago Auto Show, General Motors unveiled the following video. It’s basically a montage of all the pre-transformed Autobots driving through the desert — something that any car/Transformers lover will want to spend a few minutes drooling over:
You probably already saw the brand new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen teaser during the Super Bowl and it was definitely worth the wait. One thing for sure is that the Decepticons are not happy with Sam and the Autobots. It seems they are really going to kick some ass and cause all kinds of madness.
Everyone seems to be wondering who or what that big giant wheel is towards the end (update: find out what it is here). Can it be Devastator or just one of the constructicons? What do you guys think?
Everybody’s still talking about the Revenge of the Fallen Super Bowl spot, but it looks like they’ve slipped out with the video game teaser trailer as well. Check it out:
Nice to hear Optimus talk to us again. What do you guys think?

It’s been confirmed that the first ad for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will debut during the Super Bowl on February 1st. Depending on who you talk to, we still might have to wait until Star Trek is released in May to get a full-length trailer, but the Super Bowl spot will be the first finished footage the public is able to see from the film, and will probably subsequently play as a teaser trailer in theaters over the next couple of months.
Variety reports that a number of other movies will also advertise during the Super Bowl, including X-Men Origins: Wolverine, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Land of the Lost, Angels & Demons, Fast and Furious, and Star Trek.
By the way, if you couldn’t tell, that’s a fan-made poster to the right, but it sure is nice anyway.
