Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen made a strong showing at the Scream Awards, which were held last night in L.A.
The annual awards show will air October 27th on Spike TV.
Megan Fox won the award for Best Sci-Fi Actress, and Isabel Lucas won the award for Best Breakout Female Performance. Hey, it’s hard work seducing Shia LaBeouf and then turning into an evil robot.
For what seems like a relatively minor awards show, it was a pretty big event: Fox and Lucas were both there, as were folks like Harrison Ford, Johnny Depp, and Twilight’s Taylor Lautner.
You know that outfit that Megan Fox was wearing when her character, Mikaela Banes, was introduced in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? Yeah, that one:
When I saw Revenge of the Fallen in theaters, there was actually a fairly big smattering of applause when she appeared like that.
Well, anyway, those shorts and tank top are being auctioned off. Rich lonely creeps, your time has come!
For Immediate Release
MeganFox-Sexiest Woman in the World-”Mikaela Banes” short shorts and tank top from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and a 17 foot screen-used Bumble Bee Autobot to hit the auction block!
16′ 10″, 3200 Pound Full-Scale Hero Bumblee Robot; Bumblebee Camaro; Original Optimus Prime CGI Head and all principal wardrobe worn by MeganFox and Shia LaBeouf are among over 100 Items from the Transformers Films To Be Offered October 8-9 By Profiles in History [...]
“MeganFox has become the new sex symbol-anything worn by her is in great demand by collectors. Transformers made her a star and I expect her costumes to perform very well at auction. The 17-foot Bumblebee robot speaks for itself. It’s such an amazing spectacle and a pop culture icon that I expect bidders to go crazy,” said Joe Maddalena, president of Profiles in History.”
Find out more at Profiles in History. What’s funniest about this is how blatantly creepy it is. Why don’t they just auction off her thong? I mean, I really want to meet the guy who spends thousands of dollars on a pair of short shorts worn by Megan Fox.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, currently the biggest movie of the year, will pop up on DVD and Blu-Ray on October 20th. It’s a two-disc box set.
Disc one features the movie along with a commentary track from Michael Bay and screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.
(Sample exchange from the commentary — Bay: “Hey, remember when I told you to write this scene, but I didn’t really like what you came up with, but you didn’t have time to rewrite it so I just shot a bunch of shit and stitched it together in the editing room?” Orci: “Not really. Actually, I don’t remember much. You gave us a couple weeks to hammer out the script, and considering you were building the sets before we wrote anything, I just didn’t pay attention to what I was writing at all.”)
Disc 2 features all the extra goodies you’d expect:
The Human Factor: Exacting Revenge of the Fallen–This multi-chapter documentary chronicles the entire creation of the film and includes interviews with the cast and crew:
Seeds of Vengeance - Development and Design - After the overwhelming success of 2007’s Transformers, how do the filmmakers top themselves for the sequel?
Domestic Destruction - Production: United States - Michael Bay believes in going big: Big action and big explosions. Cast and crew are pushed to the limit as they traverse the U.S. from New Mexico to Pennsylvania.
Joint Operations - Production: Military - No other filmmaker in the world enjoys the kind of military access and cooperation Michael Bay has. Here we see just how efficient our armed forces are and the awe and respect shown by the cast.
Wonders of the World - Production: Middle East - You can’t really reproduce Egypt anywhere but Egypt so off we go to Giza and Luxor.
Start Making Sense - Editing - In order to turn over the massive amount of film as quickly as possible to VFX, four editors work tirelessly in a unique tag-team approach to shape the film.
Under the Gun - Visual Effects - Revenge of the Fallen features the most complicated VFX in film history. So complicated in fact that the filmmakers were unsure they would make the deadline. The DEVASTATOR VFX alone required 83% of ILM’s total render farm capacity.
Running the Gauntlet - Post-Production and Release - Working seven days a week, Michael Bay and company usher the film through sound design, Digital Intermediate color-timing and a globe-trotting whirlwind of premieres.

There’s also some exclusive Blu-Ray content:
The ALLSPARK Experiment–Viewers get their chance to unleash the power of the recently recovered ALLSPARK shard on Earth vehicles. Begin by selecting and customizing a vehicle with a selection of parts and accessories. Then apply the ALLSPARK to this creation and watch what happens. If viewers discover all four, they unlock a fifth vehicle, which reveals a top secret message about the future of the TRANSFORMERS movie franchise.

Giant Effing Movie - A very personal look at the making of the movie.
The Matrix of Marketing–An archive of the film’s promotional media including trailers, posters and television spots.
In other words, in true Bay style, they’re definitely going all out.
A little something for everybody here: the Devastator, the pyramids, the Fallen, and even a little skyscraper battle. Plus Megan Fox. Because she’s the breakout star (apologies to the kid with the hand cast, whom I like, don’t get me wrong, but he doesn’t have boobs) and Transformers photo galleries feel strangely empty without her.
We’ve got the full-length trailer, lots of stills, and all the TV spots — all that’s left are lots and lots of Transformer-centric posters that’ll keep debuting up until the movie’s release. And what do you know? Here are six right now…
Eight Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen stills were just released, all of which you can check out in the gallery below (click each one for a much bigger look).
Only two are of Megan Fox, but we also get out first look at Isabel Lucas’s characer, “Alice.” We surmised earlier this year that Alice is probably an evil Decepticon Pretender, and the photo doesn’t even seem to want to hide that: she looks so obviously evil it’s almost laughable.
Other than the girls, we’ve got Bumblebee and Optimus in vehicle form, the introduction of Sam’s friend Leo (Ramon Rodriguez), and the return of Jon Turturro and Tyrese Gibson. Without further ado…
We still don’t have much in the way of a traditional one-sheet final poster yet, but the new standee art that was just released is even better. Expect to start seeing Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sam, and Mikaela hanging out in movie theaters around the country soon…
The lengthy bit of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen footage that screened at ShoWest found its way online last week via a site no less official than MichaelBay.com. Above is a cool screencap from the footage of a Megatron battle — yep, the same Megatron that Bay has been insisting doesn’t appear in the movie. (The Cinema Source has a few more caps.)
The online footage would certainly warrant posting this as a featured article — except that a day after its online debut, Paramount Pictures went nuts, taking down the video from Bay’s site and erasing the billion or so copies that had popped up on YouTube. Perhaps the keepers of Bay’s site jumped the gun on debuting the footage?
Paramount’s actions are pretty futile, because now that it’s gotten out it won’t go away. Below is a copy I found on YouTube without much trouble. It might be deleted by the time you read this, but a quick YouTube or Google search is bound to turn something up. (And if all else fails, you can just read a description of the ShoWest footage here.)
The full trailer for Revenge of the Fallen, by the way, will screen in front of X-Men Origins: Wolverine when it comes out on May 1st.
Michael Bay popped up on Twitter the other day with links to new Revenge of the Fallen set pics on MichaelBay.com.
Since he came bearing gifts, everybody assumed he was legit, but then the real Michael Bay revealed the Twitter account (now disabled) to be an impostor by posting the following message on his forums:
Twitter. Never. What a waste of time.
M
Anybody want to place bets on whether or not he’ll stick with “never” as Twitter increases in popularity over the next year?
Anyway, it doesn’t really matter, you really came for the photos. And the photos we will provide:
Transformers Movie Chronicles landed some high-quality CGI-rendered models of the new Transformers you’ll see in July’s Revenge of the Fallen. Check out some of the major ones:

…And of course the massive Oh S*** Transformer, the Devastator:
The publicity machine keeps ramping up for Revenge of the Fallen, and the latest step is getting Ms. Fox to grace the cover of Empire Magazine, which you can check out below…
Michael Bay’s constant battle to keep Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen plot points secret is getting funnier all the time. Thwarting him this week? The official Revenge of the Fallen coloring book, which contains gems like the following (click to enlarge):
Michael Bay should really just give it up. He doesn’t do secrecy well. He’s not J.J. Abrams. His attempts at misinformation are badly delivered, easily refuted, and only make him look stupid.
He announced a while back that Megatron would not appear in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen — and everyone immediately called B.S. after pointing out that Megatron is all over the packaging of Revenge of the Fallen toys. So on his website yesterday, he revised his statement:
Okay cat is out of the bag. Megatron is back —- but you will only get to see him from the long lost past. We go way back in time as this movie explains the mythology of the Primes. He is not a tank like everyone suggests, but an alien vehicle. But sadly he does not has much screen time.
Michael
An alien vehicle? You mean…an alien vehicle that could definitely be called a tank?
And as for the “you will only see him in the long lost past” and “not much screen time” lines, while I don’t have photographic evidence to disprove it, the guy is a really bad liar.
Remember when Michael Bay said Megatron definitely wasn’t going to be in Revenge of the Fallen, but toy box art clearly showed he was lying?
Further proof comes from two separate sources this week. The first is from screenwriter Roberto Orci himself, who flatly contradicted Bay by saying on a message board “Megatron returns! Keep it quiet!”
The second is the actual Megatron toy in its actual Revenge of the Fallen box:
Tip for Michael Bay: when passing around misinformation, don’t lie about things that can be proven otherwise threefold.
